The Kidnapping/Stalker Cliche in Literature

This is something I am so sick of seeing. It always starts off with a girl who is completely and utterly useless, not to mention emotionally flat. She's unfunny, boring, and just a pain to read about. Almost enough to put the book down entirely.
Then comes the man who brings that "You should stay away from me." crap, to which the dumb girl responds (much like Twilight, though don't get me wrong, I love me some Edward) "Oh, but I don't want to!" He's always stronger than her, and she is always defenseless and weak. Passive.
I hate the amount of unmentioned events in these things. Something obvious will happen, maybe she'll get a weird message saying "I'm watching you," and her friend will ask her if she's okay. Obviously the chicks best friend just got a messed up text. That's when the girl says, "Oh, I'm fine!"
Really, lady? You're fine? And you're sure about that? I don't know about you and your friends, but I know my girls and I would be like "Wtf, let's go find this asshole."
If something terrible happens, keeping it to yourself is a bad idea for many, many reasons, not even including your safety. The more details someone has about what's happening to you, the higher the chance you'll be rescued if something sour happens. Not to mention it could lead the story to an awesome plot twist.
Anyway.
Soon after the creep and her meet, there are two personalities that the girl can take up. She will either be submissive in order to manipulate him, or she will be ridiculously bitter about every little thing, causing her more trouble than it's worth.
Really, sometimes I just want to shut these girls mouths for them. If you are stuck in a possibly life or death situation, you don't piss the whacko off. Don't for one second think that they won't hurt you, because if they're crazy enough to do something like that, they're crazy enough to kill you and throw your body in a ditch.
Later, she escapes. You know she does, and the stalker/kidnapper either dies or gets thrown in jail. That's how it ends up in real, published stories. Wattpad is a whole other monster that usually makes me want to tear my eyes out.
This is every plot to every stalker story on Wattpad. Ever.
High school "bad boy" likes a girl. He's cocky and stuck up. Probably ends up being a werewolf "alpha" or vampire "master." The girl is sweet, stupid, and dull. She doesn't like the guy. Guy kidnaps girl. Girl falls in love. Major werewolf/vampire fight ensues. Story ends.
It isn't even just this particular type of story. Everything falls back heavily on stereotypes. If my fiance ever makes me mad, I can take solace in knowing I have the ability to ruin every movie imaginable for him after the first ten minutes.
I want to see something different. It's such an interesting genre, but done so poorly most of the time. If any of you have written anything that falls away from these stereotypes, please email it to me so I can restore my faith back in literature. Thanks
